Celebrity chef Sue Lawrence presented a few days ago in BBC2's
Saturday Kitchen one of her Scottish recipes, but using this time this
"gorgeous, gorgeous argentine Dulce de Leche".
She made an alluring Bramble
and Butterscotch Crumble Tart , showing also the extent of versatility that
has Dulce de Leche, the traditional argentine milk toffee spread. Sue used Dulce
de Leche San Ignacio for this recipe.

Sue is Scottish herself and has traveled around the country extensively
researching the best regional recipes. She won Masterchef in 1991 and was the
weekly cookery columnist for the Sunday Times Style magazine from 1993 to 1999.
Sue writes a regular column in Sainsbury's Magazine and features for Wine, Woman
& Home and Country Living. She is also the regular cookery columnist for
Scotland on Sunday Spectrum Magazine.
